Rich Davis

Rich was named CEO of White Knight Production LLC in December 2018.  He originally joined the company in June 2015 as VP of Operations, leading the operational startup of the company though both the original acquisition of the California properties and the subsequent acquisition of the Texas properties.  

Prior to joining White Knight, Rich spent his nearly 25 year career in various engineering, operations, and management positions with Unocal Corp, Samson Resources, Texas Petroleum Investment Company, and PetroQuest Energy. As Operations Manager for PetroQuest’s Oklahoma assets, Rich was recognized for his operational leadership by receiving the 2014 SPE Mid Con Region Operations and Production Award.  Rich has experience in the Gulf Coast, Gulf of Mexico, East Texas, Mid-Continent, and San Joaquin Basins in the U.S.

Rich earned a Bachelor of Science Degree Cum Laude in Petroleum Engineering from Missouri S&T University.  He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Petroleum Institute where he has served both organizations as board member and officer.
